THE EFFECT OF ESG DISCLOSURE AND CAPITAL STRUCTURE ON COMPANY VALUE (A STUDY OF COMPANIES LISTED ON THE IDX ESG LEADERS INDEX 2022-2024)

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of ESG Disclosure and Capital Structure on firm value in companies listed on the IDX ESG Leaders index for the 2022-2024 period. The population of interest was 30 companies. The research sample was selected using a purposive sampling method with specific criteria, resulting in a sample of 17 companies with 51 data points from the 2022-2024 period. This study employed a quantitative approach with secondary data obtained from annual reports, sustainability reports, and company financial statements. Data analysis was performed using multiple linear regression with IBM SPSS Statistics 26. The results indicate that ESG Disclosure and Capital Structure significantly influence firm value.
